Pinhole #2

I liked the blur of the flag, it was flapping in the breeze. All and all, I think digital pinholes suck. It was more fun making the whole camera back in the day and the focal lenght is too long to make it really work well. Perhaps the cap will work better on a 35mm camera with a full-frame though. Nonetheless, it was a fun challenge.

The 6x9 camera has yeilded a few nice images. I will try to send you a couple next week if you like. I am about to head out of town for a football game and will be working for the next few days without halt.

I really think my best pinhole photos always came from homebuilt cameras, and part of the fun is building them. The 6x9 camera comes in kit form, so you still get some of that fun with it.

We should revisit this the next time they have worldwide pinhole day. I think it is in April.

Yes, the quality sucks, but I wonder about the unique halos in David's pin #1 shots. For some reason I like the strange blurs. They have some connection to my true eyesight. Can I create a lens that truly shoots what I see?
