Riding in Pintlala, Alabama

Went for a nice long ride this weekend. The scenery was nice but it got way too hot!  

This particular stretch of road is kind of bumpy, but it's also shady because of the trees.  

The views along the roads in Pintlala, Alabama are really nice. This sod farm has the greenest grass! 

Woofstock 2004:

Every year Auburn has a festival for dogs called Woofstock at Keisal park. We took Ileya to check it out, she had a fun day barking at frisbee dogs. The above photo was taken during her usual walk around the park.
I lost my car keys somewhere in the big grassy field, so my day wasn't quite as festive as hers!

This was a cute little blue-eyed Aussie. Ileya went nuts barking at him.

Another lap by the same spot, riding into the sunset. The weather is starting to cool a bit, and it was a beautiful way to end my day! 

Went for a ride in Auburn last night. I found a short little loop around the Keisel park area, was a great place to ride as there were a couple small hills and I didn't have to worry about getting too far away in the dark.

Only two photos to post from this weekend. Went for a short ride in Pintlala yesterday and Mary stopped to rescue a turtle that walking over a bridge, she has a thing for turtles. He surely would have been splattered by this big ol tractor that came by as she was saving it. She carried down the woods under the bridge and sat him free next to a mud puddle.

This is what my balcony looks like this year. Swapped the old metal chairs out for some wood benches, added a couple lattices and a fish pond.  

Not a whole lot to post this week, did go for a nice ride in the country on Sunday. The heat eased up a little bit this weekend, and the views were awesome
