I just noticed that my blog is one year old today!

This Past Weekend's Video

I didn't take any still photos this weekend. Instead I shot this with my little digital camera. I made a trip to a skatepark in Georgia Saturday, went for a bike ride Sunday morning and took Ileya to the park Sunday afternoon.

Riding in Tuskegee

This is a clip from a bike ride I did in Tuskegee National Forest a couple weeks ago. I had the camera mounted on my bars with this clamp I use at work sometimes. When I watched it from the site, things didn't seem to go smoothly. The video ran slower than the audio track, the music should cut off right before I ride up to the car.

I finally found a free host site where I can place video. This is a clip from the Montgomery Skatepark last night. The action may not be all that, but I am at the experimental stage with the video thing:

Sunflower Opened Today

The sunflowers on my porch started blooming today. Sounds like it's time for another gathering.

The Factory Skatepark

This wooden wonder is located in Newnan Georgia at a place called the Factory Skatepark. I drove over there while Mary was working Saturday. I was under the impression that Newnan was a lot closer to Auburn that it was, turns out it was almost in freakin Atlanta. Then I got lost trying to find the place, but I had fun anyway. The photo to the right is a screen grab from a video. I put my little camera in the bottom and carved over it.

Friday Night Dinner

This was dinner at my place Friday night. Cajan BBQ Tuna steaks served over Crawfish Alfredo Linguini, the wine was Red Bicyclette Syrah.

This is a great site. It is from a guy that bought an old candy box in a junk store. It had an Argus-a in it with ten rolls of undeveloped 35mm. He processed the film, and many images came out great:

The Outer Banks

Mount Trashmore, Virgina Beach, VA

This beauty is at Mount Trashmore skatepark in Virgina Beach, Virgina. I didn't skate very long as Mary was with me and it was very hot. Mount Trashmore was the location of a famous ramp back in the eighties, where former pro skater Mark "Gator" Gonzales punched out a cop and Tony Hawk did the first 720.

Cape May to Lewes Ferry

Atlantic City, NJ

We spent a couple days and a night in Atlantic City NJ also. I have a bunch of photos from there I shot wiht my Holga, will have to wait for those.

New York City

The Catskills

This is the Tibetian Buddhist Monastary in the Catskills, which is near Woodstock.

After the wine tour we drove through the Catskills and stayed overnight at a place called Cafe Tamayo.  

The Fingerlakes Wine Region

Things got a little blurry after a few taste of wine!

After Niagra Falls we toured the Finger Lakes region which is full of wineries. This was at the Heron Hill winery, which I believe had the best wine of the ones we visited.
