Pets in Cars

Mary and I had a pretty easy going weekend. I rode bikes one day and we made good food as always. The photos are of Spike on his way home to Montgomery Tuesday morning and Ileya on her way to the park Saturday afternoon.

My new Flickr Page

I was thinking of setting up a new blog so I could post photos and get advice/critique from some of my photo-friends and colleagues. I decided to go with a Flickr page as they seem popular and McD and a couple others I know have them.
Anyhow, it was a HUGE pain in the ass to setup, blogger is much easier to use. But I got it going anyhow and it located here. So far I have uploaded a few recent shots. Give me some comments if you you got em.

July 4th Weekend

Mary and I spent July 4th weekend at Perdido Key Resort which is next to Gulf Shores. She spoke at a vet conference there so we had 3 free nights. It was nice, even though there were horrible screaming children all over the place.

This is a little crab guy. I saw him(and a bunch others like him) while snorkeling. I put in him my pocket thinking it was just a shell, then when I got back to the beach I realized he was alive. He was safely returned to the ocean.

Saw this in a gift shop at Orange Beach. I would have bought it, but neither of us like bloody Mary's.

While Mary was working the first day we were at the beach I headed over to Pensacola to get in a little skating. The park there is pretty nice, but really weathered. It was also hot as hell which made skating kinda hard. I spent 90% of the time there on the ramp this photo is taken from, but I hit the big vert a couple times and skated around the park once or twice.
